The infoXpert In-Tray module provides any easy way for users to manage tasks that have been assigned to them, and is an alternative to the standard “My Tasks” screen.
In the upcoming infoXpert version 8.2 there are a number of key enhancements to the In-Tray module to improve productivity and reduce the time taken to action workflow tasks.
These enhancements include:
- When users click on My Tasks the In-Tray screen is opened (instead of the My Tasks screen). The In-Tray can be configured to open Tasks in the same frame rather than a separate tab. (Note: the feature to open In-Tray from the My Tasks tab is only available to customers using Windows Server 2008 and above.)
- Easily identify new workflow tasks – any new tasks in the In-Tray are shown as bold
- Manually mark tasks as read or unread (similar to Outlook e-mail)
The In-Tray also incorporates the Resubmit function which enables a user to quickly set a document to be reviewed at a future date . (This is also available with the latest In-Tray update on our Support Portal.)
