The custom metadata fields (also known as custom property sets) within infoXpert enable organisations to create an extensive range of user defined fields for folders and documents. Some of the features available: • Define a wide range of properties for each field including data type (text, numeric, date), length and control type (text box, list box, etc.) • Folders can be configured to automatically prompt custom metadata information when a new document is created • Create “Lookup Lists” to validate data from external databases (e.g. Customers from CRM database, Suppliers from Finance database, etc.) • Search screens can be configured to use custom metadata for advanced searching • Folder views can be configured to include custom metadata fields |
